Also all of these words only include a single consonant and are mainly 3 characters or less. This is to help beginners as these words are generally easily to read.

Key Korean Vocabulary

Part 2 looks at the Korean consonant 니은 (similar to an English N) and features the following 8 words:

  • 나비 = Butterfly
  • 나라 = Country
  • 노래 = Song
  • 나 = I (pronoun)
  • 나무 = Tree
  • 나오다 = Go / Get out of (verb)
  • 뉴스 = News
  • 누구 = Who
