As at the moment we’ve currently enjoying the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics over in Russia. We thought it would be useful and interesting to learn a few different Korean Phrases as well as Vocabulary related to the games. It’s also useful to note that the next Winter Olympics in 2018 will be hosted by South Korea in Pyeongchang.
These phrases and vocabulary can also be used within different sports and events. As well as the regular summer Olympics and Asian Games (which will be held in our hometown of Incheon this year).
We’ve listed the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics Korean Vocabulary and Phrases here either as a JPEG image or a high quality PDF download. Either click on the images or link above, and enjoy:

Olympics – 올림픽 (Ol / Lim / Pig)
After 4 years of waiting its time for the Summer Olympics again. The games officially opened this morning (Korean Time) and therefore today’s word of the day is Olympics or 올림픽. This time the Olympics are being held in the UK capital London (런던).
Of course there are many Koreans competing at the games and we will be supporting them every step of the way during the next 2 weeks.
